All the societies of the world are desirous of happiness and joy. Happiness and sorrow come one by one. Man is a part of the society. But on many occasions contradictions are also visible between man and society. Man is also a part of nature. But there are also contradictions between man and nature. It makes human beings unhappy. Societies develop polity to live peacefully. In the Mahabharata, the king has been described as the cause of time. The political system tries to make the society happy. The king or the polity is important. Polity paves the way for a blissful society. Human beings have many basic needs. There are many desires.

There is a prayer in the Rigveda (9.113.10 and 11), ‘where all wishes are fulfilled. Where there are pleasant and satisfying food. O God give us stability there.’ Food and fulfillment of wishes are not enough. That’s why it is further said, ‘Where there is Anand Mod, Mud and Pramod – Yatra Anandashcha Modashchas Mud Pramod Aaste.’ Anand Mud Mod and Pramod have come together in this mantra. Next to this is the desire for a beautiful polity. Nations are not happy in the absence of ideal polity. The best polity is blissful. In the same prayer, the ideal polity is mentioned, ‘Where the son of Vivaswan (Surya) is the king, where there is the door of bliss, you give stability there.’ An ideal polity has been prayed here. The king or the polity provides opportunities for the society to live happily. In Indian tradition, the king is not a ruler but a servant. Praja is the son. Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi is the responsible Rajpramukh. They call themselves Pradhansevaks. Last month, nine years of his tenure have been completed. There are many achievements of this period.

The nine years have been a remarkable period of development and national confidence. During this period the country has made many amazing achievements. The corona pandemic that shook the whole world had presented many challenges here. There was an orgy of death due to Corona in all the countries. Modi ji took a bold decision of lockdown. In fighting Corona, the government gained prestige all over the world. India sent vaccine to many countries of the world. The World Health Organization has also praised the fight against Corona within the country. Modi ji was described as a powerful global leader in all the surveys. Pakistan sponsored terrorism has been an aggressor on India for a very long time. Under the leadership of the Prime Minister, this terrorism was fought decisively. Under the leadership of Modi ji, there was a surgical strike on the hideouts of the terrorists. The whole country praised this decision of Modi ji.

The decision to remove Article 370 of the Indian Constitution was not an easy one. Although the framers of the Constitution had written in the title of Article 370 itself, “Temporary Provisions in respect of Jammu and Kashmir”. The framers of the constitution had written it temporary on their behalf. But it remained a permanent article from the constitution making (1949) till 2019. A bold decision was taken to remove Article 370 under the leadership of Modi ji. The supporters of this article were surprised and the nationalist forces were delighted. This was a unique initiative. A new atmosphere of confidence was seen among the people of the country.

Modi ji started many popular schemes. Jan Dhan Yojana came to the fore as a support for the poor. In this scheme, apart from check book, passbook accident insurance, overdraft facility is also available to the poor on the account. This is a unique scheme. Similarly, with a view to increase the income of farmers, the central government brought PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana. In this scheme, the central government provides assistance of Rs 6000 in a year to the small farmers of the country. Small farmers got adequate relief from this scheme. Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana was started in 2020. There was a lockdown during the Corona pandemic. This scheme was started at this time. 80 crore people got free food. This scheme was very useful for the poor.

Similarly, the Ujjwala scheme was started in 2016. This is an extraordinary plan. There was a revolutionary change in the life of women. Under this scheme, 12 gas cylinders are distributed in a year. The benefit of subsidy of Rs 200 is being given on each cylinder. The subsidy goes directly into the bank accounts of the eligible beneficiaries. 2400 as subsidy in one year. Ayushman Bharat scheme is unique in the whole world. This scheme made keeping in mind the health of the citizens became a support for the poor. This scheme has the facility of free treatment up to 5 lakhs. The government pays the cost of medicines and other medical expenses. In this scheme, Ayushman card is made for the eligible. Ayushman card holders get their treatment free of cost in poor empaneled hospitals. This scheme has been praised by the whole world.

The nine years of the Modi government are full of many schemes. Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana is important. In the event of the death of the insurance holder of this scheme, his family gets financial assistance of up to 2 lakhs. You get the benefit of this scheme by paying only Rs 436 throughout the year. This scheme is very useful for the poor and downtrodden. Similarly, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana was started in 2015. It was widely publicized and welcomed. Its annual premium was only Rs 12. Now from 2022 it has been reduced to Rs 20. A protection cover of 2 lakhs at Rs 20 annually is significant. Worth noting. Appreciable. Atal Pension Yojana also remains in the national discussion. This scheme run by the central government is actually a pension scheme. One has to invest in this scheme from the age of 18 to 40 years. After the age of 60 years, a maximum pension of Rs 5000 is received every month. The amount of pension depends on the investment.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is important for providing housing to the poor. Subsidies are given on loans to the poor to build houses. Under this scheme, a person earning less than 3 lakhs annually can be benefited. This scheme is very useful for the poor. In the last 9 years, the Prime Minister has run the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ program to create dialogue with the people. It is a direct communication between the Prime Minister and the general public. India’s self-respect has increased under the leadership of the Prime Minister. The world cannot take India lightly. Thousands of Indian students were stranded in Ukraine during the Russo-Ukraine war. All the students were brought safely under the leadership of the Prime Minister. The world was surprised. India is happy. The biggest thing is the increase in national self-respect. Mobility and stability in the economy. All the achievements of India in the cultural field. Indian yoga science got international recognition. The new Parliament House is the divine temple of the Constitution. Institutions of democracy and constitution have become stronger. There is an atmosphere of hope and enthusiasm in all spheres of national life. It was really a difficult task but because of Prime Minister Modi, it is becoming possible from impossible.
