Re-examination of five lakh answer sheets in six days

Bhopal. Revised Exam Result after re-examination of class 5th and 8th board exam pattern conducted this year by State Education Center School Education Department on Monday have been declared. It is noteworthy that the annual results of these examinations were declared on May 15, 2023. In which some children were failed due to non-entry of project marks of the students by some schools. Along with this, many students were failing in only 1 or 2 subjects.

State Education Center Director Dhanraju S said that according to the guidelines of the Honorable Minister of State for School Education (Independent Charge) Inder Singh Parmar, in this regard, after analyzing the data of all 24 lakh students, the department has identified more than 3 lakh 89 thousand such students. Marked those who were absent in only 1 or 2 subjects due to non-entry of project marks by the schools.

He told that the State Education Center has decided to re-examine the examination results of all those students in the interest of the students. Preparing a time-bound strategy for this, in a short period from May 27 to June 3, about 5 lakh answer books of such 3 lakh 89 thousand 764 students were re-examined, entry of marks and matching of the scores were made, if necessary. Along with this, the schools were also given the opportunity to enter the project marks. After this process, 44 thousand 293 students of class 5th and 44 thousand 751 additional students of class 8th have been declared passed. After which, in the session 2022-23, the result of class 8th has increased from 76.09 to 80.29 percent and the result of class 5th has increased from 82.27 to 86.02 percent.

State Education Center Director told that such students of class 5th and 8th, who were previously absent in only 1 or 2 subjects in the result of May 15, 2023, or whose schools did not enter the marks of their project works in their marks list. Reasons were absent, they can see the revised result on the web link of the State Education Center or on. In case of change in the revised result, the concerned schools will provide the new mark sheet to such student.
