Ukrainian militants continue their attempts to break into the territory of the Belgorod region. The day before, units of the Armed Forces and the Border Service of the FSB of Russia foiled an attempt by two groups of terrorists to enter Novaya Tavolzhanka. To divert attention, they began intensive shelling of civilian objects. At the same time, they tried to cross the Seversky Donets River and land on the outskirts. But the joint work of aviation and artillery did not allow the enemy to complete the breakthrough. 10 militants were eliminated, two boats and a car were destroyed. Meanwhile, in Belgorod, residents evacuated from the Shebekinsky district began to be resettled in hostels. Today, more than 4,000 people are in temporary accommodation centres.

Several arrivals at once in the village of Sobolevka fell on the street, located at the entrance to the village. The roof of this house is badly damaged, but they say it still needs to be restored. The garage was completely burned down. During the bombardment, there was a man next to him, he died.

“I’m in the house and he’s in the yard. Trimmer mowed the grass. Everything,” said a resident of Sobolevka.

During the shelling of the Ukrainian side of this border area, three local residents were killed. According to the head of administration, more than a hundred homes were damaged. They are already being restored. Cars are also damaged.

“Around 9:30 p.m. Everything is quiet. Echoes were heard in the border area, the children were at home, we were in the yard. Everything is instantaneous. In 20 seconds, but it seemed to take a very long time,” said Natalya Chernichko, a resident of Sobolevka.

Fragments are also in the house of the Nazarchenko family. When the shelling of “Gradov” began, their son played near the house, with friends.

In the village of Dragunskoye the day before there was an attack with improvised explosive devices from a drone. One of the electrical installations was damaged. According to locals, this is not the first drone attack.

Currently, there are 32 people in the Belgorod city hospital. Of these, only six patients were admitted over the weekend. They are residents of Novaya Tavolzhanka, Bezlyudovka and Shebekino.

Tatyana Shekhovtsova was helped to leave Novaya Tavolzhanka by a neighbor.

“We arrived at the Shebekino hospital, there was an UAZ with soldiers. They say what do you want? Yes, he said, I am hurt. They say: so come and see us by car. They took me away. And they put me in a car and took me to a reasonable place. The ambulances were already there,” the victim said.

Hiding behind heavy shelling of civilians, Ukrainian terrorists in two groups tried to force the Seversky Donets River and land on the outskirts of Novaya Tavolzhanka the day before.

The authorities of the region ensure the exit from the border areas of all those who want to leave their homes. Volunteers also help.

“They called me from different regions of Russia on the phone. Because the parents were far away, and the adult parents were in Shebekino. They called and asked for help with the evacuation. It turns out that I spoke to the guys who were taken to the armor, and I already picked it up from there and took it to the TAC, ”said volunteer Alexander Shushkov.

Alexander Kots himself left Shebekino. He took all his family, neighbors and pets with him. Installed in a student residence.

Olga Komova’s husband is on the front line. The family moved to Belgorod from Krasny Khutor on the border with Ukraine. They were helped with housing, the child was sent to rest in the Crimean sanatorium. In total, according to the governor of the region, there are more than 4,000 people in temporary accommodation centers. Volunteers collect humanitarian aid, help provide people with everything they need.

More than a thousand apartments and 370 private houses were damaged or destroyed in the Shebekinsky district in one week. And there are still a lot of problems. They help people not only to find housing, but also to find a job. The employees of the PĂ´le Emploi organize job fairs directly in the foyers and other TAPs.
