Amount will come in accounts on June 10, sisters will be able to withdraw on June 11: Chief Minister

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the purpose of my life is to make life better for sisters. Many schemes are being implemented for women empowerment in the state. Out of these schemes, the Unique Ladli Behna Scheme will bring self-reliance among the sisters. On coming June 10, an amount of one thousand rupees will be transferred to the accounts of the sisters. Sisters will be able to withdraw this amount the next day on June 11. Ladli Bahna Sena is being formed in every village to monitor the schemes run in the interest of women at the field level. Sisters, feel free to inform me about the irregularities in the implementation of the schemes. I will not spare the trouble makers.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Women’s Conference in Jhabua on Monday. The sisters welcomed the Chief Minister with Bhagoriya dance and shower of flowers. The sisters tied raksha-sutras to the Chief Minister and presented a big rakhi.

The Chief Minister said that no sister will remain poor in the state, nor will she live in compulsion. I will not let tears come in the eyes of my sisters. With the Ladli Bahna Yojana, sisters will be able to fulfill their needs and the needs of the family. He said that by associating women with the livelihood mission, their economic condition is being strengthened. It is my resolve that the monthly income of each sister should be Rs 10,000. He called upon the sisters to join the self-help groups. He said that now a new era has come where women will be more empowered.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that I salute Jhabua, where there is no discrimination between son and daughter. I had seen discrimination against daughters in many places. To change this mentality of the society, Ladli Laxmi Yojana was implemented in the state. With the scheme, daughters are now being considered a boon and not a burden. To give respect to sisters, we have made 50 percent reservation for women in local bodies. The result of this is that today many of our sisters have become panch-sarpanch, district and district panchayat members and presidents. Provision has also been made for reservation for daughters in police, education and other government recruitments.

He urged all the sisters present that on the evening of June 10, when the amount of Ladli Bahna Yojana will be deposited in their account, they must celebrate by lighting a lamp in their homes. He said in his emotional dialogue that I promise that I will live for my sisters and if I have to die, I will die for my sisters.

Prime Minister Modi has done a lot of work for the poor class and women.

The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has done a lot of work for the poor and women. We have restarted the schemes which were stopped by the previous government in Madhya Pradesh.

In the beginning, the Chief Minister performed Kanya-Pujan. The tribal groups gave a beautiful presentation of hymns. The women also presented a skit with a message centered on Ladli Bahna Yojana. The Chief Minister announced to present an honorarium of Rs 25,000 each to both the parties. In the program, the Chief Minister also inaugurated the development works and performed Bhoomi Pujan. Along with this, acceptance letters and benefits of Ladli Bahna Yojana were distributed to the sisters. The Chief Minister interacted with sisters and public service friends and inquired about the progress and implementation of government schemes. Peepal sapling was also planted at Jhabua’s Gill Rest House. The Chief Minister was given a traditional welcome by wearing Jhuldi and Safa and was presented with a bow and arrow as a memento.

The Chief Minister went door-to-door in Udaipura township and distributed approval letters

The Chief Minister distributed approval letters of Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana in Udaipuriya Basti of Ward No. 16 on Jhabua migration.
