Wrestlers Protest: We stand with women wrestlers till they get justice – Congress. National News in Hindi | Wrestlers Protest: We stand with women wrestlers till they get justice

New Delhi. The Congress on Wednesday said it stands with the wrestlers protesting demanding the arrest of outgoing Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) president Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh, after the government invited them for talks till they get justice.

Party MP Deepender Hooda also said that whatever stand the wrestlers take after talks with the government, the Congress will stand by it. It is worth mentioning that a few days after meeting Home Minister Amit Shah, the government has given permission to the wrestlers protesting against Brij Bhushan to discuss their issues. are invited for talks.

Sports Minister Anurag Thakur tweeted after midnight on Tuesday, “The government is keen to discuss their issues with the wrestlers. I have once again invited the wrestlers for talks.” Hooda told reporters, “The stand of the Congress party is clear. Our only demand is that our daughters should get justice. Till the time justice is not achieved, we will support the daughters.

She alleged that the government was giving step-motherly treatment to the women wrestlers and the entire machinery had been left wide open to stifle their voices. The Congress MP said, “We will go by whatever stand the wrestlers take after talking to the government.” If injustice is done to someone’s sister-daughter and the accused is a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP, won’t action be taken against him?”

Hooda said, “This is the first instance that no arrest has been made in such a case. In the coming time, by giving example of this matter, more daughters may be tortured. What kind of environment is this government creating for daughters in the country.” He said, “When women wrestlers went to Haridwar to immerse their medals, no one appealed to the government not to do so. At least a statement could have come from the government that justice will be done to you.” It is unfortunate that he is being media trialed.”
