CM Kejriwal is Free to Go in Defamation Case; Delhi Courth

A Delhi court on Saturday released Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a criminal defamation case which Rajya Sabha MP Subhash Chandra filed in 2016. The court said that further proceedings for the situation will be a purposeless exercise as Chandra had filed the objection through the power of attorney, which was banned under the law. In 2016, Chandra had moved toward a city court looking for the prosecution of Kejriwal for supposedly slandering him by levelling false charges against him. The protestation, filed through power of attorney, asserted that the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief, in a question and answer session with no legitimate premise, hauled the name of Chandra in the whole exterior, which has criticized his notoriety according to people in general.
