RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 1st July 2019)

  • Minimum – 18 years
  • Maximum – 33 years
Educational Requirement for RRB Group D
  • You must be High School (10th) passed.
  • Having ITI Degree from NCVT/ SCVT 
  • Having a National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) which is granted by NCVT.
RRB Group D Selection Process

The RRB Group D exam is a multiple-stage process, as mentioned below-

  • CBT (Computer Based Test)
  • PET (Physical Efficiency Test)
  • Document Verification
  • Medical Test

The RRB Group D CBT will follow the aspects below –
  • The Computer Based Test is Objective and Multiple-Choice type.
  • The RRB CBT 2019 will consist of Negative Marking, which means each wrong answer will result in marks deduction.
  • The negative marking in CBT will cost you 1/3rd of the total marks allotted to each question.

RRB Group D Exam Syllabus

RRB Group D General Science Syllabus
  • The General Science section will be unchallenging for most candidates as it involves questions from Physics, Chemistry and Life Sciences.
  • The questions will be of 10th level.

  • The mathematics section of RRB Group D CBT will consist of questions from the following topics –

  • The reasoning section would involve questions from the following areas –
  • Alphabetical, Analogies, and Number Series, Coding and Decoding, Mathematical operations, Relationships, Syllogism, Jumbling, Venn Diagram, Data Interpretation and Sufficiency, Conclusions and Decision Making, Similarities and Differences, Analytical Reasoning, Classification, Directions, Statement – Arguments and Assumptions etc.
RRB Group D General Awareness/Current Affairs Syllabus
  • The GA section would involve questions from Science & Technology, Sports, Culture, Personalities & Polity.
  • The Current Affairs will be mostly of 3-4 months prior to the exam.
