‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana’ launched by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for farmers of Jharkhand state of India. Every farmer attaining the age of 60 will get Rs.3’000 out of this scheme, announced PM Modi.
More than 1’16’000 farmers of Jharkhand state have already registered for the ‘Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana’ (Farmer’s pension scheme). Introduction of this Kisan pension scheme is a step towards social security to farmers in the state of Jharkhand, said Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das.
Farmers between the age of 18 and 40 who register for Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana will get Rs.3’000 each when they reach the age of 60, said CM Raghubar Das.

During the same event, where PM Modi launched Pradhan Mantri Kisan Mandhan Yojana, CM Das of Jharkhand announced that PM Modi will lay foundation stones online for Eklavya Model Schools all across the nation. Out of these 462 Eklavya Model Schools, 13 are given to 24 districts within the state of Jharkhand.
A new building of Jharkhand Secretariat is also planned. PM Modi will lay the foundation stone according to further plans during PM’s visit to Jharkhand.
