Zurich – Because of the coronavirus pandemic, the 84th Tour de Suisse will not take place this year. The bike tour was to be held from June 7th to 14th, but the organizers were forced to cancel the event due to the serious effects.

The Tour de Suisse is usually considered an important preparatory race for the Tour de France. The international cycling association had decided to suspend all races by June 1st. The pause may be longer. A postponement of the Tour de France, which is supposed to start in Nice on June 27, is currently under discussion.
