Early in the morning of May 11, the Azerbaijani armed forces opened artillery fire towards the positions of the Armenian army near the village of Sotk, in the Gegharkunik region. As the press service of the Armenian Defense Ministry informed, two soldiers were injured as a result of shelling.

“On May 11, starting from 06:00 (05:00), units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces opened fire with artillery and mortars on Armenian positions located in the direction of Sotk. The Ministry of Defense will issue an additional statement the agency said in a statement.

The ministry also refuted the statement of the Azerbaijani side on the shelling of the positions of the Azerbaijani armed forces which allegedly began on the evening of May 10 by the Armenians, as a result of which an Azerbaijani soldier was injured.
