Request for early completion of Indore-Budhani Rail Project and providing experts for Indore-Bhopal Metro
Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav at Rail Bhavan on Wednesday evening during his stay in New Delhi. During this, he discussed about various railway projects related to the Railway Minister.
Chief Minister Chouhan urged Railway Minister Vaishnav to complete the Indore-Manmad and Indore-Dahod railway links at the earliest. Along with this, he also assured that appropriate action would be taken by the state government in land acquisition for these projects.
The Chief Minister said that the completion of these two link projects would help in further industrialization of Indore, Pithampur and Dhar areas. He also requested to fulfill the long-standing demand of the Indore-Budhani rail project at the earliest.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the state government has a target to run metro in Indore and Bhopal cities before September this year. This will require experts. He requested the Union Minister to provide expert manpower in this regard. (Agency, H.S.)
