In line with the vision of Qatar 2030 and the orientation towards providing comprehensive services to the financial and business community, a cooperation agreement was concluded between Issa Al-Sulaiti Law Firm and Jabara Al-Rumaihi Accounting and Auditing Office in order to provide integrated services through one channel to serve business owners and national and foreign companies.
This is within the framework of enhancing constructive cooperation between law firms and distinguished national accounting firms, in keeping with Qatar’s direction towards achieving Vision 2030, to serve the financial and business community. On behalf of the law firm, Attorney Issa bin Muhammad Al-Sulaiti, the founder and president, and on behalf of the accounting and auditing office, Mr. Jabara bin Abdullah Al-Rumaihi, the founder and president, in order to establish a single channel and a common window for comprehensive services, from establishment to management for local and foreign companies in an optimal manner and in accordance with the continuous developments in the legal and accounting structure in line with The continuous development to achieve the vision of the State of Qatar 2030 in a way that supports the capabilities of the financial and business community, whether local or foreign, to secure and continue its economic performance and attract investments of all kinds, whether foreign or local.
This agreement was concluded based on the cooperation of both offices, which resulted in building mutual trust through cooperation with many clients in establishing their companies and representing them in their disputes before the various litigation bodies, which culminated in the conclusion of this distinguished partnership.
Under the agreement, the two offices will cooperate in all matters related to the financial and business community and companies, starting from the incorporation stages until the start and continuation of the activity, and this includes clarifying investment opportunities and how to crystallize them from a legal point of view and optimal solutions for establishing companies of all kinds, preparing contracts and initiating the necessary procedures and providing various legal advice in addition to representing these entities before Judicial authorities in the field of lawsuits, amicable settlement and arbitration disputes, attracting the attention of foreign investment to promising investment opportunities in the State of Qatar and stating investment incentives according to economic laws such as the investment law and its incentives and the law regulating the ownership and use of real estate by non-Qataris, and this only comes through securing the legal business environment and accounting
And also taking over the other part in terms of accounting, which includes preparing a feasibility study, keeping accounting books, providing the required accounting systems and services, in addition to preparing or auditing annual budgets with submitting the necessary tax returns.
The areas of joint cooperation between the two offices are represented in the legal and accounting audit of companies and the preparation of reports necessary to detect and manage their legal and accounting risks, in addition to supporting clients from local and foreign companies in preparing appropriate governance systems, which include policies, procedures, powers and control over operations, as well as conducting training workshops. And the necessary seminars of interest to the financial and business community to see all developments in the legal and accounting fields.
The agreement also includes the preparation of the necessary studies that include the latest developments in the legal and accounting field to serve the interests of national and foreign companies, as well as cooperation in legal representation and defense before judicial bodies and arbitral tribunals in disputes with an accounting or tax aspect, as the integration of legal and accounting expertise in this type Disputes represent the cornerstone of achieving the best results before the judicial authorities, committees of a judicial nature, friendly settlement bodies, or arbitration bodies, and settling various disputes using all legal and accounting means, which is the result of the broad experience of both offices.
On this occasion, Attorney Issa Al-Sulaiti explained that this agreement comes within the strategy and vision of the office, in which it participates with the various national and foreign entities, to enhance the role integration framework to serve local and foreign companies, especially that legal procedures and accounting systems constitute a great necessity to enhance the work of the financial and business community and open horizons more towards Business development and advancement.
For his part, Mr. Jabara Al-Rumaihi said that this agreement comes as part of the office’s efforts to conclude strategic partnerships with law firms with the aim of developing the business of local and national companies, including medium and small companies, with the aim of enhancing their business by providing accounting systems and services, contracts and legal advice to support and develop their activities.
