From March 2 to 5, the Winter Cup Radio Monte Carlo takes place in the ski resort of Rosa Khutor. This is a new business event format, presented by Russian Media Group, which combines a business session, sports and music. Today, March 3, within the framework of the event, a public conference “Russian Media Group” was held: “Creative & Business. Music, design and marketing of prosperity ”, which brought together experts from the sectors of tourism, leisure, finance and creation.
By launching the new Creative & Business direction, Russian Media Group sought to create a platform for cross-industry interaction that would allow representatives of different industries to develop new approaches to economic development and discuss pressing business issues. And for the music industry, it’s an opportunity to integrate into business processes and assert itself as a full-fledged sector of the economy.
The first event in this direction was the Radio Monte Carlo Golf Cup, later the Russian media group presented the Monte Carlo Radio Regatta. This time the event took place in the most beautiful and modern ski resort of Rosa Khutor.


On March 3, a public lecture “Russian Media Group: Creative & Business. Music, design and marketing of prosperity”, where representatives of various industries – resort, music, automotive and others – discussed the topics of communication with the public and the principles of marketing in modern Russian realities.
“Audience needs change, interests change, the climate of life changes,” Dmitry Mednikov, general manager of Russian Media Group, opened the discussion.
Marketing strategies are mainly based on the value system of the target audience. One of the first topics discussed in the business session was how this system has changed. The events of the past four years have left people in the country and around the world with questions about what is really important, what goals should be pursued.
“There are four Russias: the Russia at war, that of the disappeared, that of the depths and the Russia of the capital (and it is not only Moscow and Saint Petersburg), whose representatives have gathered here”, has said Valery Fedorov, general director of the All-Russian Center for the Study of Public Opinion. – Many accuse it of escaping reality, but another element is much more significant: metropolitan Russia is in search of its own values, the triad of which can be described as security, prosperity, health. Capital Russia has experience, opportunities and successes. And for deep Russia, metropolitan Russia must act as an exemplary Russia, from which we want to learn. So one of the purposes and functions of the public we’re talking about is not just to be happy, but also to play a leading role – to show the way in difficult circumstances.
Against the background of ongoing changes, the growth of the trend towards a healthy lifestyle, the measurement of well-being is changing, the demand for outdoor activities is increasing. As noted by the director of the marketing department of Rosa Khutor, Dmitry Barashkov, even in summer people tend to come to Krasnaya Polyana not to lie by the sea, but to climb the ridge, walk along the hiking trails.
“Recently, we have seen how top leaders are already measuring not only the cost of watches, but also personal achievements that need to be invested in, that need to be worked hard for,” says Dmitry Barashkov. – For example, sports scores. The evaluation of success is no longer purely material. Your ability to work hard is now valued in society.
A striking example of this renewed ideology is skiing, the development of which was described by the president of the National League of Instructors, Olga Darguzhas. As Olga noted, the demand for training is very high now, instructors spend a lot of time with clients. And another option for the development of sport for a large audience can be the addition of elements of the spectacle, as well as collective programs aimed at bringing people together.
During the Radio Monte Carlo Winter Cup, the event partner presented the new Voyah premium electric car. Aleksey Ledkov, Distribution Director of Voyah, spoke about the benefits of electric vehicles in general and the brand in particular.
“Human thought is ahead of its time,” stressed Alexey Ledkov. – Sometimes science does not allow you to create some kind of device, but people are always looking for ways. Today, an electric car can compete with a car with an internal combustion engine, travel hundreds of kilometers, whereas 10 years ago this was unattainable. Today, Voyah is watching the Russian market with great interest. We receive all new items very quickly. After the May holidays, we are waiting for the premiere of the sedan.
Part of the discussion was devoted to the development of domestic tourism. This subject is one of the priorities of the Russian Media Group. Over the past two years, the holding has participated in events aimed at attracting tourists to tourist regions of Russia and increasing the tourist and investment attractiveness of the regions.
“We are actively developing sailing, we are implementing the Kuban wine routes project – people went to Europe for such impressions,” said Denis Zabolotny, general director of the Abrau-Dyurso tourism center. – We have active leisure types, we are launching new hotels. We strive to create entertainment, including with Russian Media Group, for customers who come to us. It’s festivals, musical weekends, holidays like Sparkling’s birthday. And the growth in demand for our station is currently 151%.
Another topic discussed during the business session was the development of the fashion industry in Russia. According to Tatyana Ognivova, producer of the Creative Projects Directorate of the Roscongress Foundation, the foundation is organizing a design and fashion forum in April that will cover all areas of fashion and style, including automotive and industrial design.
“Fashion is not created on the catwalks, it starts with textiles”, explains Aleksandra Kaloshina, founder of the Solstudio Textile Group and the Radical Chic brand. – We are now influencing the fashion of the world a lot, our patterns are the most quoted in the world, more than 300 designs have become global trends, as evidenced by leading analysts. We are already analyzing the summer of 2025, in terms of style and color, I can already tell you what we will be wearing in 2027. The world commission has included the work of our designers in the list of 12 designs, and it is a great news: everything you wear in 2027 is made in Moscow.
In turn, the director of development of Forbes Russia, Dmitry Ozman, spoke about the revival of the paper magazine.

“The brand is associated with the magazine, underlines Dimitry Ozman. “Readers are used to seeing the traditional billionaire rankings in print, I’ve often been involved in discussions that print has lost its usefulness, but I think Forbes will be the last magazine to shut down production. of prints.”
Dmitry Ozman also expressed confidence that most of the magazine’s audience, who left the country last year, will return.
Anastasia Eliseeva, director of Radio Monte Carlo, concluded the discussion by talking about the development of the radio as a premium radio for a demanding audience.
“We managed to find the right balance, which allowed us to achieve today’s results. There is no clear recipe for how radio stations can succeed. We analyzed the competitors, the radio market, including abroad. All of this set the right vector, and we were able to make friends with our audience. Correct and gentle positioning, without pathos, in our case, turned out to be that premium attribute. We managed to feel our listener and come up with a successful format, finding the right balance between classics and modern trends. No matter where you live, no matter what your standard of living, you are the one who deserves the best.
The additional program of the Radio Monte Carlo Winter Cup includes two-day ski and snowboard competitions for the Radio Monte Carlo Cup and an atmospheric après-ski, which will take place with the participation of star hosts from Russian radio, the DFM and MAXIMUM radio. radio, as well as the best DJs.
