Islamabad: There is also a high-alert in Pakistan regarding Cyclone Biparjoy, which is becoming extremely dangerous. Along with India, the landfall of Biparjoy cyclone has also been predicted in Sindh province of Pakistan. In view of this, thousands of people of Sindh province have been shifted to safer places. Thousands of people from Thatta, Sujawal and Badin, besides various areas of Sindh province, have already left their homes and reached safer places to escape the cyclone’s havoc. Meanwhile, dusty storm, light to heavy rains have started engulfing the sensitive areas. Due to which power supply has been disrupted in many areas.

According to officials, the landfall of the category-3 cyclone has been predicted in Karachi (Pakistan) and Mandvi (India) on Thursday evening. It has also been told that during this time strong wind speed of 140 to 150 kmph, which can go up to 170 kmph speed, is expected to change direction towards east after moving in north direction on Wednesday. is estimated. According to officials, the landfall of Biparjoy could be in KT Bunder of Thatta and in the coastal areas of Gujarat, India.

According to meteorologists, areas like Thatta, Badin, Sujawal, Karachi, Mirpurkhas, Umarkot, Hyderabad, Ormara, Tando Allahyar and Tando Mohammad Khan may be most affected by the cyclone. Authorities have started deployment of Pakistan Army, Rangers, District Administration in the coastal areas. Who has accelerated the process of rehabilitating thousands of people living in the coastal areas of Sindh to safer places.

Climate Change Minister Sherry Rahman says relief camps have been set up in schools and other government buildings. Small and big boats have been removed from some coastal areas. Hospitals have been put on high-alert. The National Disaster Management Department (NDMA) has given information related to the latest situation to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The NDMA has said that till Wednesday morning, about one lakh people have been safely evacuated from the affected areas. Till Tuesday night, 56,985 people from Thatta, Sujawal, Badin districts have been evacuated to safer places. Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah says that 37 relief camps have been set up in three districts of Sindh province. In which there are seven relief camps in KT Bandar, three in Ghodbari, 10 in Shaheed Fazli Rahu, three in Badin, ten in Shahbandar and four in Jati.
