New Delhi: Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said on Friday after disqualifying Rahul Gandhi from the membership of the Lok Sabha, that the blood that runs in the veins of the Gandhi family has a specialty that this family has never bowed down and will never bow down. Priyanka Gandhi tweeted, “Narendra Modi called the martyred Prime Minister’s son a traitor, Mir Jafar with his spoon.” One of your Chief Minister raised the question that who is the father of Rahul Gandhi? Following the practice of Kashmiri Pandits, a son wears a turban after his father’s death, maintaining his family tradition.

“In the larger parliament, you insulted the entire family and the Kashmiri Pandit community and asked why they did not take Nehru’s name,” he said. But no judge gave you a sentence of two years. You are not disqualified from Parliament. He asked, “Rahul ji raised the question of a true patriot who was a farmer, who raised the question of Nirav Modi and Mehul Choksi.” Had your friend Gautam Adani become bigger than the country or the Parliament and the great people of India? He freaked out when his loot was questioned?

Priyanka Gandhi said, “You call my family a family, know, this family has watered India’s democracy with its murder, which you are trying to destroy.” This family raised the voice of the people of India and fought for the truth from generation to generation. The blood that has decreased in our ragas, Ushik has a specialty. you can do anything.

Rahul Gandhi, who represents the Wayanad parliamentary seat in Kerala, was on Friday disqualified from the membership of the Lok Sabha by a Surat court after his conviction in a 2019 defamation case. A notification issued by the Lok Sabha Secretariat said that the order regarding his disqualification would be effective from March 23. The notification states that he (Rahul Gandhi) has been disqualified under Article 102(1) of the Constitution and Section 8 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. Significantly, a Surat court on Thursday convicted Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in a criminal defamation case filed in 2019 over his ‘Modi surname remark’ and sentenced him to two years in jail.
