– Appointment of Bhavesh Jhaveri to the post of Executive Director
New Delhi. HDFC Bank has appointed Kaizad Bharucha as Deputy Managing Director. Along with this, Bhavesh Jhaveri has been appointed as the Executive Director of the bank. Both these appointments have become effective from April 19.
HDFC Bank told the stock market on Thursday that the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has approved the appointment of Kaizad Bharucha as Deputy Managing Director of the bank for three years from April 19. The bank said that Bhavesh Jhaveri has been appointed as Executive Director. A meeting of the Board of Directors will be called to give formal approval to both these appointments.
It is noteworthy that HDFC Bank and HDFC are going to merge by June-July. Kaizad Bharucha is a career banker. He has more than 35 years of experience in the banking sector. Bharucha has been associated with HDFC Bank since 1995. He is currently handling Wholesale Banking including Corporate Banking, Public Sector Undertakings, Capital and Commodity Markets as Executive Director. (Agency, H.S.)
