The 95th Academy Awards took place at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. Hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, the best film of 2022 was honored with comedy All Everywhere All At Once. Its authors won seven gold statuettes out of 11 nominations.

Top directors were Dan Kwan and Daniel Scheinert, who directed the film. Additionally, they received the “Best Original Screenplay” award. Michelle Yeoh, who played the female lead in the film, became the first actress of Asian descent to receive the top award. His co-star Ke Huy Quan won a Supporting Actor Oscar and Jamie Lee Curtis, who played a tax inspector, won a Supporting Actress Oscar. In addition, the members of the group Son Lux won the Oscar for best film music.

Brendan Fraser won Best Actor for his portrayal of a character with an eating disorder in the drama The Whale. The film adaptation of the German filmmakers of the same name of the novel All Quiet on the Western Front by Erich Maria Remarque received the title of best foreign film. Other winners in the 2022 Oscar race include Pinocchio Guillermo del Toro for Best Animated Feature and director/screenwriter Sarah Polley’s drama Women Speak for Best Adapted Screenplay.

Rihanna, who performed Black Panther: Wakanda Forever hit ‘Lift Me Up’ on the Oscars stage, was left without a statuette as she left the songwriters of ‘Naatu Naatu’, written for the film “RRR: Revolution Roars Near”.
The 95th Academy Awards received a few cosmetic changes this year. In particular, the red carpet has been replaced by a champagne pendant. Admittedly, this choice played a cruel trick on the organizers when the rain fell on Los Angeles last Saturday, following which traces of dirty soles formed on the track. Hastily the day before the ceremony, sections of the covering had to be cut out and replaced with a new one.

Also, due to past rains, there have been small drops in electricity, but these have also been eliminated. So when the stars started arriving at the Dolby Theater on Sunday evening, only the flashes of many photographers flashed, and the evening unfolded in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
