Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen arrived in Kiev on Thursday.
This is the first public visit by a senior Israeli official to the Ukrainian capital since the start of the Russian invasion last year.
Eli Cohen’s visit comes on the eve of the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, as Western countries seek to increase aid to the country.
“We came here for an important visit in solidarity with the people of Ukraine, who have undoubtedly gone through a very difficult time over the past year,” Cohen said.
