He was a General Manager and Editor-in-Chief of Al-Arab News Channel. Khashoggi was assassinated on 2 October 2018. The assassination took place at the Saudi Arabian consulate in Istanbul, Turkey. The Saudi Arabian government agents assassinated Khashoggi.
