KL Rahul’s right thigh surgery successful

New Delhi. Indian opener KL Rahul has undergone successful right thigh surgery. Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) captain Rahul, who has been ruled out of the remainder of the IPL 2023 season and the WTC final due to a thigh injury, has confirmed through social media. .

Rahul posted on Instagram, “I just had my surgery and it was successful. Thank you so much to the doctors and medical staff for making sure I was comfortable and everything went smoothly. I am officially But now I am on my way to recovery. I am determined to give my best and get back on the field.”

The 31-year-old Rahul suffered the injury while fielding during the IPL match against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. After this, Rahul underwent surgery in consultation with experts and will now go for rehab at the National Cricket Academy. The All India Senior Selection Committee has included Ishan Kishan in place of Rahul in the squad for the WTC final.
