The Palestinian Foreign Ministry called on the international community to provide protection for the Palestinian people and to take measures to force the occupation to stop all its violations and crimes.
In a statement today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the attack committed by the occupation forces yesterday evening, Thursday, on a football field, which terrified the players and the public, including children, and resulted in a number of injuries among them.
The ministry considered that this aggression represents an extension of the occupation war against the Palestinian presence in Jerusalem and its environs, and an ugly form of fascism and racism practiced by the occupying state against the Palestinian people.
And she warned against the Israeli government’s continued disregard for the decisions of international legitimacy, international law and signed agreements, noting that it had reached an unprecedented level of arrogance and acting outside any UN laws and claims.
It called on the international community to develop its positions and translate them into actions capable of forcing the occupation to stop all its unilateral measures, and to guarantee equal rights for the Palestinian people of independence, freedom, dignity and prosperity.
