The Expo 2023 Doha Horticultural Exhibition has signed a partnership agreement with Qatar Airways and Hamad International Airport, to enhance the tourism aspect and promote this global event, which will extend over a period of six months.
Under the agreement, which was attended by His Excellency Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Subaie, Minister of Municipality and Chairman of the National Committee to host the State of Qatar for the Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha, visitors to Hamad International Airport (transit) will be allowed to visit the exhibition instead of waiting at the airport, with the aim of global promotion of the exhibition. Qatar Airways will also broadcast promotional videos about the Expo on its various flights, in addition to coordinating to attract tourist groups visiting Qatar to see the exhibition and its pavilions and events. For his part, Eng. Badr Mohammed Al Meer, Chief Operations Officer at Hamad International Airport, expressed his happiness that the airport is one of the official partners of Expo 2023 Doha for gardening. And he said: "As the main point of entry for travelers, we aim to provide those coming to Qatar with an unparalleled experience and seamless connectivity to the city of Doha and the event ".
