“Hostile provocations did not pose a threat to the life and health of the servicemen, so they did not open fire. There were no combat losses or injuries among the personnel of the Joint Forces,” the headquarters said.

It is noted that in the area of ​​the operation, tasks and other components of the defense forces are duly fulfilled.

“Yesterday, servicemen of the Armed Forces with firefighters of the State Emergency Service extinguished fires near Popasnaya and Katerinovka. At the same time, the elimination of fires in the areas of the Bolotennoye and Yekaterinovka settlements is still ongoing,” the military said.

Since the beginning of the day, on October 9, no ceasefire violations have been recorded in the areas of responsibility of Ukrainian units. There is silence along the entire contact line.
