On the other hand, in view of the cyclone, Western Railway has decided to cancel a total of 95 trains for three days by changing the routes of many trains. Earlier, Ashok Kumar Mishra, General Manager of Western Railway had said that he is closely monitoring the situation of Biparjoy cyclone. Along with this, disaster control rooms have been set up at many places in Gujarat. Also, ADRMs have been deployed at railway stations like Bhuj, Gandhidham and Okha to help deal with any emergency. Along with this, in view of cyclone in areas like Saurashtra and Kutch, Western Railway is taking various steps. Railways has decided to stop the operation of trains for one to two days at many stations like Veraval, Porbandar, Dwarka.
Central and state government has made this preparation
Significantly, two types of cyclones are forming in the Arabian Sea, out of which Biparjoy cyclone is the fastest, it has been more than 150 hours since its formation. In view of this cyclone in Gujarat, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has held a meeting with the state government regarding preparations to deal with this disaster.
A total of 12 NDRF teams have been deployed in different areas of the state. Apart from this, medical teams of AIIMS Delhi, Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia Delhi, Lady Hardinge Hospital Delhi, Safdarjung Hospital, Jodhpur AIIMS have been kept ready for emergency.
