Vaccination of 10,000 students in 76 public schools was conducted by Primary Care.

The Primary Health Care Corporation, represented by the Department of School Health Program and Services, in cooperation with the Department of Health Protection and Communicable Disease Control at the Ministry of Public Health and the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, implemented the annual national campaign to vaccinate tenth grade students in government schools against tetanus, diphtheria and whooping cough. The campaign targeted this year More than 10 thousand male and female students, distributed in 76 public schools, during the period from 12 to 23 February 2023. The campaign witnessed a turnout of 37.7% of the total number of targeted students, while the percentage of those vaccinated increased during the current year to reach about 90%. Among the students who have been approved by their families to receive the vaccination, and we hope to achieve this percentage and higher than it in all schools in the coming years.
