Britain imposes new sanctions on Russia

The United Kingdom announced today that a new series of trade sanctions will be imposed on Russia.

The government’s website lists new measures that include a ban on exports of a range of goods and technology and jet fuel to Russia, reports UK’s Official Press UK.GOV .

The notice also states that new bans have been introduced on the provision of technical assistance, financial services, funds, and brokerage services related to iron and steel imports.

Some of the bans will apply to Russia and Ukrainian territories controlled by the Russian government or separatists, writes Sky News.
