Mendi N Safadi, an Israeli Druze, has been milking lots of influential politicians and individuals in Bangladesh by falsely claiming as Likud party leader and Asia coordinator of the Israeli intelligence agency MOSSAD.
In 2016, Mendi N Safadi visited New Delhi, India. He met a BNP party member Aslam Chowdhury in New Delhi where they discussed how they can overthrow Sheikh Hasina in Bangladesh.
After a few days, a video popped up on Facebook proving the meeting between Aslam Chowdhury and Mendi N Safadi. Questions have been raised against Zahid F Sarder Saddi, Jacob Milton, and Mendi N Safadi for cooking up a video to spread falsehood and travesty of truth against Sajeeb Wazed Joy, reports observerbd.com website. Also, Aslam and Safadi both have admitted to meeting each other in New Delhi but claimed nothing covert was discussed.
Also, Safadi claimed to be a former advisor to Israeli deputy minister MK Ayoub Karar. At numerous events and personal meetings with BNP leaders, Mendi claimed that he runs the Mendi N Safadi Center for International Diplomacy and Public Relations, according to the bdnews24.com website.
During the investigation, The Eastern Herald found no solid evidence proving that Mendi is a MOSSAD agent or a Likud party member in Israel. The cooked story and the fake claims of the existence of the Mendi N Safadi Center for International Diplomacy and Public Relations gave him importance in the eyes of some stupid politicians of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party in Bangladesh.
During further investigation, we also found that Mendi N Safadi is a prime associate in the WHSC scam Kolkata with an individual named Shipan Kumar Basu, who runs this bogus organization named World Hindu Struggle Committee (WHSC). Shipan Basu is an uneducated swindler who is currently on the run following the Kolkata WHSC scam fearing the state’s law enforcement agencies.

Mendi Safadi, according to a report published in the Weekly Blitz , accepted cash from Aslam Chowdhury to form a notoriously infamous and bogus organization, the World Hindu Struggle Committee.
Aslam Chowdhury is an active member of the Khaleda Zia-led Bangladesh Nationalist Party which is involved in many jihadist activities in Bangladesh. BNP is directly involved in the riots against the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Bangladesh which turned into riots against Hindus in Bangladesh. During these BNP-led riots, more than 12 Hindus were killed brutally, reports the APNews . At least 40 people were injured, including journalists during these riots against the Indian Prime Minister and Hindus in Bangladesh, Somoy TV reported.
On June 23, 2020, Shipan Kumer Basu, kingpin of the scandalous organization named World Hindu Struggle Committee (WHSC) made a false claim stating he was “in prison for raising the voice for Hindu rights”. According to a report published on the Newse website, WHSC said: “Our President, Mr. Shipan Kumar Basu had been in Prison for raising the voice for Hindu rights and our struggle continued. Our war against Jihadi Muslims is non-compromising and has saved hundreds of innocent lives”.
According to media reports, it was proved, Shipan Kumer Basu has never been imprisoned in Bangladesh, as he fled the country in 2016 when sedition charges were brought against him along with Mendi N Safadi and BNP leader Aslam Chowdhury. There is no reason for Shipan Kumer Basu to be imprisoned in India for “raising the voice for Hindu rights”.
The World Hindu Struggle Committee which is formed by BNP, a party that follows the Jihadist-Islamist ideology is the main culprit behind this scam. Mendi N Safadi in collaboration with BNP and Shipan Kumar Basu is found to be the main culprit behind the WHSC scam.
It has also been learned that Bangladesh’s government is still trying to lobby with Israel using a scammer like Shipan Kumar Bose and a self-claimed MOSSAD agent Media N Safadi. Shipan Kumar Basu is a cheap fraud like Mendi N Safadi and the dependency of Bangladesh’s government on these kinds of fraudsters and scammers is extremely damaging to them.
During these sensitive times when the western media is being used against Bangladesh and Sheikh Hasina, these kinds of news may damage their image and reputation worldwide. The present opposition party, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, is continuously lobbying in the international media and other international platforms against the present ruling party in Bangladesh. They are not only damaging the possibility of relations with Israel but also questioning the credibility of Bangladesh’s intelligence agencies.
I always thought politicians are smart but this time it seems the politicians are bonafide idiots.
