French Minister of Defense Lecornu announced the start of large-scale military exercises Orion23

Orion23 large-scale military exercises have started in southern France. This was stated by Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu.
“The exercise will involve 20,000 personnel who will stage a simulation of major battles on land, sea and air, as well as in new areas of conflict: in cyberspace, space and in the information environment. “, noted the speaker.
There were no analogues of such exercises in the country yet. France is preparing the army for the possibility of entering a high intensity war.

Earlier it was reported that Paris was preparing to transfer a batch of AMX-10 heavy armored vehicles to Kiev, which foreign media wrote with reference to Defense Minister Sebastian Lecornu. However, the exact number of equipment that the “partners” will send is not specified.
