The day before, on March 1, the Russian Defense Ministry announced that Ukraine had repelled a massive drone attack in Crimea. Six aircraft were shot down by air defense systems, four others were disabled using electronic warfare, the department said in a summary. There were no casualties or destruction. Ukrainian authorities did not comment on the Russian Defense Ministry’s statement.
By data from the military telegram channel Rybar, on March 1, Crimea was attacked by 15 drones, which were “shot down on approach”.
