A funnel was found in a forest 600 meters from the village of Berezovsky, Kireevsky district, Tula region, RBC told the regional security committee. “The causes of the incident are being established. There are no casualties or damage to infrastructure,” the ministry said.

The Kireevsky District Unified Dispatch Service told TASS that the explosion occurred around 8:16 a.m. Moscow time.

“There is about a kilometer from the place of the explosion to the apartment buildings, there is no damage. The funnel is not very big,” the source said.

“A funnel with a diameter of one and a half meters has been discovered, the sappers are working”, reported RIA Novosti in the emergency services of the region. The interlocutor of the agency admitted that a drone could become the cause of the formation of a funnel.

As a result of the explosion, no one was injured, Igor Tskhovrebov, head of the Kireevsky district administration, told TASS.
