In the Kursk region, as a result of the shelling of the village of Tetkino, one person died, another was hospitalized with moderate injuries. About it in the telegram channel reported Governor Roman Starovoit.
“As a result of the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the village of Tetkino, two men were injured. One of them, unfortunately, died before the ambulance arrived. I offer my deepest condolences to family and friends,” the region’s chief wrote.
According to Starovoit, all necessary assistance is urgently provided to the victim.
The governor noted that a total of five arrivals have been recorded. According to preliminary data, three houses were damaged.
“The final clarity will appear after going around the house. Also, as a result of the shelling, the power supply was interrupted in the village,” Starovoit added.
Since the outbreak of hostilities in Ukraine, the Kursk region has been regularly bombed. In mid-October, Russian President Vladimir Putin introduced a “medium level of response” in the territories bordering Ukraine, including in this region. On February 11, the governor of the Kursk region reported that a brigade of builders came under fire in the village of Guevo, Sudzhansky district. A worker was killed, another was injured, he was transported to hospital by helicopter. At the end of January, Starovoit announced that an additional contingent of security forces would arrive in the Kursk region in the coming days. According to him, a strong contingent of forces from the Ministry of Defense, Border Guards, National Guard and other departments have already been formed in the region.
