Residents of Poland will be forced to meet Easter in austerity mode. This is due to a sharp rise in food prices in the country.
One of the main products of this holiday is mayonnaise. However, its value has already started to rise. The price increase is also seen in other Easter products, especially eggs. For this reason, Poles will have to save a lot on holidays, spending them in a “budget format”, reports Interia.
Representatives of the older generation were in the most vulnerable position. Analysts believe that this year people in Poland will be less likely to order finished goods for Easter. The main demand will be for meals prepared at home.
