From Pugacheva to Zemfira: The State Duma approved a ban on performances by artists who don’t support CBO

Anton Belitsky/Russian lookMPs supported banning performances by artists who criticize the CBO. Deputy Sergei Solovyov agreed with the organizers of the StudVesna festival, who made a stop list.

According to the choice of the people, if the artists do not share the agenda of the state, they should perform in Western halls. The Russian scene should be represented by young artists who treat Russia with respect. The list of people who are not recommended to perform at the StudVesna festival includes both pop and rock artists.

“The list includes well-known Russian artists who, from the beginning of the special military operation to the present day, continue to publicly declare their anti-Russian position. There are also foreign agents on the list, so the recommendations are completely justified and logical,” Soloviev said in an interview with NEWS.ru .

Previously, a list of artists not recommended to the Pskov branch of the StudVesna festival was published, which included 66 names. Some of the musicians are recognized as foreign agents.
