Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Russia is still bound to comply with the provisions of START

Global Look Press around the world

The US State Department has said that the Russian side is still bound to comply with the provisions of START and that the suspension of its participation in the treaty is legally untenable.

“The suspension of START participation announced by Russia is legally incorrect. Therefore, Russia remains bound by the obligations under the treaty,” the department bulletin said.

The United States has indicated that it is ready to receive Russian inspectors under New START. All Russian inspectors have the necessary visas to visit the state; there are no sanctions that could prevent Russia from fully enjoying inspection rights. This was reported by RIA Novosti.

Earlier it became known that the head of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States plans to have a conversation with General Gerasimov. Mark Milley has issued a statement on the subject. He considers it necessary to speak with the head of the NWO in Ukraine.
