His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, and His Excellency President Sardar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, witnessed today at the Emiri Diwan the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding between the governments of the two countries.

His Highness and His Excellency the Turkmen President witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of disaster management between the governments of the two countries, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation between the Public Prosecution Office of the State of Qatar and the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Turkmenistan, a memorandum of understanding for cooperation in the field of youth between the governments of Qatar and Turkmenistan, and a program for cooperation in the field of sports. Between the Ministry of Sports and Youth in the State of Qatar and the State Committee for Physical Culture and Sports in Turkmenistan for the years (2023-2024).

His Highness the Emir and His Excellency the Turkmen President also witnessed the signing of an agreement to encourage and protect mutual investments between the governments of the two countries, and a memorandum of understanding regarding cooperation between the Ministry of Labor in the State of Qatar and the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population in Turkmenistan, in addition to an agreement on exemption from visa requirements for holders of diplomatic and private passports. service between the two governments.

A number of Their Excellencies ministers and senior officials attended the signing ceremony.

On the Turkmen side, it was attended by Their Excellencies members of the official delegation accompanying His Excellency the President.
