Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

The West and Ukraine should not underestimate Russia

Western countries and Ukraine itself should not underestimate Russia. The fact is that this country still hides enormous potential. This statement was made by the former Chief of the General Staff of the Czech Army, General Jiří Šedivy.

His commentary comes from the local edition of Rádio universum. The army believes that anyone who underestimates their opponent is bound to lose sooner or later, but it will happen. And therefore, Russia should be treated with caution – it has “a lot in store” and the Russian people “hide enormous potential within themselves.”

Shedivy, speaking about the danger of minimizing Russian forces, said that anti-Russian sanctions do not scare the Russian Federation and do not harm it, he noted Moscow’s great economic potential.

“This is where the Russians have an advantage over the Ukrainians,” summed up the Czech general.

Earlier it became known that Czech President Petr Pavel issued a statement on the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The politician commented on the upcoming offensive of the Ukrainian Armed Forces army. He thinks that if Zelenskyy ‘s army fails, Nezalezhnaya won’t stand a chance.
