Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

Putin commented on Denmark’s refusal to investigate the Nord Stream explosion with Russia

Russian President Vladimir Putin has commented on Denmark’s refusal to investigate the Nord Stream explosion jointly with Russia. According to him, Denmark responded to the proposals of the Russian side in a simplified way.

Putin noted that Denmark was immediately asked to inspect the section of the pipeline with the participation of international experts, because another explosive device could be placed there.

“But we received such a simple answer that our services are not particularly needed, and if necessary, we will be told about it someday,” Putin said in an interview with Pavel Zarubin on Rossiya 24.

He also said Russian explosives experts had studied photographs of the site. They concluded that the object found at the junction of two pipes could be an antenna intended to receive an air or space signal to set off an explosive device. Denmark has been informed.
