The cause of death of freestyler Pavel Krotov was cerebral hemorrhage

Freestyle skier Pavel Krotov died of a brain hemorrhage in his sleep. This was told by the coach of the Russian freestyle team Alexander Pongilsky.

The 2021 freestyle skiing world champion Pavel Krotov died on March 25. He was 30 years old.

Farewell to the athlete will take place on Tuesday, March 28 in Yaroslavl, the funeral will take place on the same day.

Pavel Krotov twice won the World Cup, participated in the Olympics in 2014 and 2018 – in Sochi he took tenth place, and in Pyeongchang – fourth, losing to Russian Ilya Burov. Krotov did not play last season due to a leg injury, but planned to return to the sport after recovering.
