HE Sheikh Saud bin Nasser bin Jassim Al Thani, Ambassador of the State of Qatar to Jordan, hosted today, Tuesday, a Ramadan Iftar banquet for the Speakers of the Senate and the House of Representatives and the committees of the Jordanian National Assembly.
The iftar was attended by former Prime Ministers Abdel Raouf Al-Rawabdeh and Taher Al-Masry.
The attendees exchanged talks about the historical relations that bind Oman and Doha, which the leaders of the two countries are keen to strengthen and build on, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, and his brother, His Majesty King Abdullah II.
The banquet, which was held at the Four Seasons Hotel in the capital, Amman, was also attended by members of the Jordanian-Qatari Brotherhood Committee among notables, the Jordanian-Qatari Parliamentary Brotherhood Committee, the Foreign Affairs Committee in the House of Representatives, and more than 60 deputies, appointees, former ministers, and dignitaries.
