The fact that many secret Pentagon documents related to the situation in Ukraine have unexpectedly leaked onto the Internet has caused panic within the US military department. About it – in the Washington Post material.
According to the newspaper’s sources, after documents representing state secrets of the US Department of Defense appeared on the web, the department severely limited the transfer of data to Washington’s allies.
The publication’s callers called this type of “unusually tight restriction and said it indicated a high level of panic among Pentagon leaders.”
At the same time, the European intelligence community believes that Washington’s next step will be to limit allies’ access to their intelligence.
Earlier, the New York Times published an article that explained how the leak of secret Pentagon documents had affected the United States’ relations with its partners. The text of the publication noted that they have become more complicated in the context of data on Washington’s surveillance not only of Russia, but of all allies.
