A new feature in WhatsApp similar to Telegram

Technology sites said that the WhatsApp application will get an important feature similar to that in Telegram.

According to the website "Our cheats" (gizchina), the WhatsApp application – owned by "meta" (Meta) – seeks to add new advanced features similar to those offered by some other applications such as Telegram and Signal, according to Al Jazeera Net.

The Telegram app is famous for an important feature called "channels"WhatsApp is working on a similar feature dubbed a private newsletter "Private Newsletter" (Private Newsletter), but its name was later changed to match the main purpose of this feature.

Site report indicates "Our cheats" to a post that appeared on a website "Wapita Info" (WABetaInfo) states that the new feature in WhatsApp will differ slightly from the channel feature in Telegram, as the new update tab will be redesigned, and all cases will be arranged in a horizontal format instead of the existing vertical format.

It should be noted that user information such as contact numbers will remain hidden after you join a channel, and other channel members will not be able to see you in the channel even if you have their contacts.

According to the site, the new feature was noted in the beta version (2.23.8.6) of WhatsApp for Android devices, and it is not known when it will be officially launched for users.

WhatsApp is still the most popular instant messaging application, with a large user base that exceeds two billion users, however, if you compare its features to other competing applications, you will realize that it lacks some important advantages.

And last March, WhatsApp announced a few new changes to increase the ability of administrators to manage groups and make them easier for everyone to browse. The new features provide group admins with greater control over the privacy of their groups, through a simple tool that gives admins the ability to decide who can join the group. When a moderator decides to share an invite link to their group, or decides to allow joining their group in a community, they now have more control over who can join. People in groups have some of the most private conversations, and it’s important that moderators have the ability to decide who can join or not join quite easily.

Find out common groups easily

And WhatsApp made available another feature to make it easier for people to know the groups shared with others, by easily searching for the name of a contact to see the groups shared between you.
