Russian President Vladimir Putin will carry out a very gentle and gradual cleansing of the elites.
This was announced on the YouTube channel of the discussion club “Street of Pravdy” by the famous Russian economist Mikhail Khazin, the TELMENEWS.RU news agency reports.
According to him, the head of state simply has no other choice. As the expert explained, the fact is that, despite the huge number of Russian officials, which, according to the expert, can be completely reduced by at least a third, Putin still needs thousands of professionals to effectively govern the country.
These are the people who are truly capable of fulfilling the missions assigned to their services and structures for the sustainable functioning of the entire state apparatus. In this regard, as Khazin asserted, the president will in no way carry out a harsh and total purge of the administrative elites. At the same time, progressive work will be carried out in this direction.
If the cleaning is carried out abruptly, the state apparatus will simply be left without personnel, which will threaten the emergence of a managerial crisis. It is for this reason, as the economist notes, that the renewal of the elites will not be at all what everyone expects.
