The Russian Ambassador to Spain was summoned to the country’s Foreign Ministry due to the posting of the diplomatic mission on social media

The Spanish Foreign Ministry summoned Moscow’s ambassador to Madrid Yuri Klimenko last Thursday. Information about this appeared Friday morning in the newspaper El Confidential, citing sources in diplomatic circles.

According to the publication, the Russian diplomat was summoned in connection with the publication of the diplomatic mission headed by him on the social network.

According to the published report, Secretary of State for Foreign and Global Affairs Angeles Moreno met with Klymenko. She demanded an explanation from the Russian ambassador regarding the video posted on the embassy’s Twitter account. The file, as noted, is related to the Ukrainian conflict.

Meanwhile, the Spanish authorities, like other Western partners of Kiev, continue to pump Ukraine with weapons. A few days ago, Madrid handed over six repaired Leopard tanks to the Ukrainian army.
