TRAI issued New Rules! Big news Mobile users! TRAI will implement these new rules from May 1 regarding incoming calls and SMS.

Mobile Calling New Rule: Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) is going to change some rules from May 1. Under the new rule, TRAI is going to come up with a new filter, in which fake calling and SMS will not be able to be done. Come on the phone after May 1.

If this happens then customers will not get unwanted calls and messages and they will not have to worry unnecessarily. TRAI has issued instructions to telecom companies regarding this.

System triggered to apply AI filters

According to media reports, TRAI has issued orders to telecom companies. Telecom companies are applying artificial intelligence spam filters for phone calls and SMS from May 1. This filter will work to prevent fake calls and messages. With this, these fake calls and SMS will not be able to reach the users. If we talk about the telecom company, then Airtel has started the service of installing AI filters. At the same time, Jio can also apply this filter in a few days. It is believed that after the order of TRAI, this service will start from May 1, 2023.

Call ID feature coming soon

TRAI has been making rules to prevent fake calls and SMS for a long time. Under this, TRAI is demanding to stop promotion calls from 10 digit mobile numbers. Apart from this, TRAI is also working on bringing the caller ID feature. This feature will display the name and photo of the caller. According to media reports, talks are going on with telecom companies Jio and Airtel in this regard. It is believed that due to privacy, companies are not very positive about bringing this feature.
