What do the forecasts say?

A quarter of global jobs are set to change over the next five years, according to the Future of Jobs report, published by the World Economic Forum.

The same report revealed that:

• Autonomous and electric vehicle specialists top the list of fastest growing and fastest growing jobs, with projected growth of more than 40% over the next five years.

• They are followed, at a small margin, by specialists in artificial intelligence and machine learning, and by specialists in environmental protection.

The most important jobs that will experience the fastest rate of decline are:

• Bank employees, with an estimated decrease of 40%.

• They are followed by administrative and executive secretaries, accountants, bookkeepers and periodical clerks, who together account for more than half of all projected job losses worldwide.

In the balance of work and unemployment: there are more than 3 billion and 300 million workers, all over the world.
