Putin will attend the launching ceremony of the tram in Mariupol

The Kremlin has said Russian President Vladimir Putin will participate in the launch of a tram in Mariupol. This was announced by the Russian President’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov.

“Today, the President will participate in the ceremony for the commissioning of tram lines in Mariupol by videoconference (videoconference – editor’s note). The first section, almost 10 kilometers, has been restored in the city – this is an event very remarkable,” Peskov told reporters.

He added that peaceful life returns to Mariupol and the Russian President keeps this under his personal control.

Earlier, the Russian President said that Russia is one of the world centers and will not follow the rules imposed by the West.
