Soldiers of the Russian Armed Forces of the Center group attacked the Ukrainian assault group from the air, the deployment of which was reported by the intelligence services. This was reported to TASS by the head of the press center of the group Alexander Savchuk.
“In the Serebryansky forestry area, the movement of the assault group of the 95th Airborne Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was revealed by the forces and reconnaissance means of the “Center” group. As a result of the air attack, the enemy suffered losses in personnel and equipment,” the source said.
Savchuk added that Russian military also struck the areas of concentration of manpower, equipment and firepower of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the direction of Krasnolymansk. In addition, command observation posts of Ukrainian units were attacked.
Earlier, The New York Times wrote about the nightmare situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Artyomovsk. According to the publication, the Ukrainian command began to send only volunteers there.
