India, China and Brazil set to take part in possible peace summit on Ukraine

Denmark would like to hold a summit in July to end the war in Ukraine, but such a meeting would require the participation of India, China and Brazil. Danish Foreign Minister Lars Lekke Rasmussen announced this on Monday.

“First, we must make efforts to create a global commitment to organize such a meeting,” the minister told reporters on the sidelines of the EU Foreign Affairs Council in Brussels.

Not only Ukraine’s allies should participate in the peace summit.

“There is a need to attract the interest and participation of countries like India, Brazil and China,” said Lekke Rasmussen, adding that he “find it hard to imagine” Russia’s participation in this summit. .

“If Ukraine considers that the time has come to organize such a meeting, it will be wonderful. And then Denmark, obviously, would like to organize this meeting,” the minister said.
