Ukrainian Foreign Ministry: NBC News reporter faces entry ban due to visit to Crimea

On his page on the Facebook * social network, Nikolenko posted a message stating the following: “Visiting … Crimea from the territory of the Russian Federation is a violation of Ukrainian legislation. Violators are subject to legal liability. In particular, foreigners are also prohibited from entering Ukraine for such actions.

According to him, “the competent authorities of Ukraine” are in the process of establishing the circumstances of the illegal visit of the NBC News journalist to the territory of the Crimean peninsula. It is specified that he is threatened with a ban on entering the country.
A US television channel reported on Tuesday that its reporters traveled to Crimea by train from Moscow and spoke with local residents. Citizens told NBC News that the Kiev regime will fail to take control of the peninsula.
As the Public News Service previously reported, Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy has once again reiterated his intention to “return” Crimea. So he commented on the ninth anniversary of the return of the peninsula to Russia.
