Reshaping Perspectives and Catalyzing Diplomatic Evolution

In the Ivanovo region, the State Housing Inspectorate revealed almost two thousand violations

The National Housing Inspectorate estimated that in 2022 it handled more than 20,000 calls from citizens. Most of the complaints concerned the quality of public services and the technical condition of apartment buildings. Last year, the GZhI conducted nearly 1,500 unscheduled inspections and uncovered 1,956 violations.

Oksana Gladun, head of the Ivanovo GZhI, said that people’s complaints are the same from year to year. They complain of leaky roofs, crumbling facades, poorly maintained attics. Nearly a third of violations are linked to the poor quality of public services.

This year, housing inspectors plan to intensify their work with management companies.
